Here we go, ahead of the fall launch of Android Nougat, HTC’s new Nexus phones, allegedly dubbed Sailfish and Marlin internally, have received the official stamp of approval to launch in the United States.
MotoG3 noticed both smartphones, model numbers G-2PW4100 and G-2PW2100 for the Marlin and Sailfish respectively, recently passed through the FCC. The filing indicates both phones were made by HTC and suggests that more information on the devices will be made through Google’s Nexus website, basically confirming these are the next Nexussmartphones.
Google has been completely mum on when the new devices will launch, but it’s seeming more and more like it’ll be any week now. For a closer look, check out some of the Nexus Sailfish images that leaked earlier today.
