Apart from the Surface Studio AIO, Microsoft has launched many accessories) including the Microsoft Surface Ergonomic Keyboard. Priced at $130 (roughly Rs. 8,700), the wireless keyboard comes an elevated design including the double-cushioned Alcantara palm resting space.
The Microsoft Surface Ergonomic Keyboard works on AAA batteries that claim to last up to a year of usage. The company is also offering a one year limited hardware warranty with the product. It can be currently pre-ordered, and shipping and return is free. The keyboard has a two-tone grey shade and elevates in the middle – a design technique that aims to provide a comfortable typing experience. The keyboard is compatible with Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, and Surface Studio devices only. It measures 460.14x229.22x34.73mm, and weighs 1,012 grams.
Moreover, Microsoft has also launched the Surface Keyboard with the same soft grey finish. The wireless keyboard is priced at $100 (roughly Rs. 6,700), and is also up for pre-order. The Bluetooth-powered wireless range can last up to 50 feet, and it also works on AAA batteries (that claim to keep the lights on for 12 months). The keyboard is slightly elevated in the front for ease in typing. It works with devices running on Windows 8 and above, Windows 10 Mobile, macOS v10.10.5/ 10.11.1/ 10.11.4, and Android 4.4.2 Kitkat to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The device must also at least support Bluetooth version 4.0. Pricing, release date, and pre-orders information are not yet available.
A new Surface Mouse for $30 (roughly Rs. 2,000) is also up for pre-order. The wireless mouse comes in the same soft grey colour option, and sports a metal scroll wheel for browsing. It weighs 90.9 grams and works on AAA batteries that last up to 12 months of usage. It supports laptops and PCs that support Bluetooth version 4.0 and higher. It supports all the same operating systems as the Microsoft Surface Keyboard. Lastly, Microsoft also launched few several Surface Pro 4 Type Covers, one which also includes Fingerprint ID.
