It was put on sale in Japan on 27 January 2009 , in Europe on April 3rd, 2009 and in the US on 7 April 2009. The game tells the story of Ken Ogawa, a powerful neo-ninja in their fight to save humanity from a deadly virus.
It was announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2008 unexpectedly.
