• Top 10 Richiest Actor's In The World

TOP 10 RICHIEST ACTOR's IN WORLD

Actors have done a lot for us over the years. They have made us laugh, made us cry, made us wonder why they chose to be in certain movies and if they are truly crazy or not. While the questions we have for celebrities are often silly, it is our probing into their private lives that has made them so famous. And when you become massively famous, you also become massively wealthy. Actors weren’t always so highly paid, but with expansions in global advertising and private appearances becoming easier, some are making enough to buy small countries.
There is a nice mix of actors that make up the list for the world’s top 10 richest actors. Some are known for their comedic style, some are known for drama and others are known for action. No matter what your taste in movies or television is, there is an actor on this list that you are certain to like. Each of the actors here are worth at least $340 million.
So which actors made the top 10 and who is on top of the list for being the richest in Hollywood (or Bollywood) today? There might be a couple of surprises for you on the list. Here they are, ranked from a funnyman at number 10, all the way to another funnyman at number 1.

    1. Jerry Seinfeld ($820 Million)

    Jerry-Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld hasn’t had a popular show on television for well over a decade now, but it doesn’t matter because “Seinfeld” still rakes in big money today. Jerry Seinfeld only has to do a couple of dozen stand-up comedy shows each year to make $30 million. That doesn’t even include the rights to syndication of his popular sitcom, which is valued at almost $50 million per year.
Back in 2008, Jerry Seinfeld got Microsoft and Bill Gates to fork over $10 million just to appear in a few ads together. Even if you didn’t like “Bee Movie” or if you didn’t watch it at all (and a lot of you didn’t), he still made millions just from lending his voice. Seinfeld will continue to make money off his 1990’s sitcom, which is all a comedian can ask for in a lifetime. Despite not acting for quite some time, Jerry Seinfeld is the richest actor in the world by a wide margin.

    2 . Shahrukh Khan ($600 Million)

    Shahrukh-Khan

Those reading this in North America are probably wondering who Shahrukh Khan is. All of the other names on the list are familiar, but the second richest actor in the world is someone that isn’t well known in the Western hemisphere. In the Indian version of Hollywood (Bollywood), Khan is the biggest star there. This means that his face is very valuable, so endorsements make up a large portion of Khan’s salary.
Khan has also appeared in many, many films that would make an American actor’s schedule look completely clear. Making private appearances at weddings/parties and owning/selling the rights to his most successful films are ways in which Khan is not only a good actor, but a great businessman.

    3. Jack Nicholson ($480 Million)

    Jack-Nicholson

Jack Nicholson has mainly retired from acting, only appearing in a film every few years here and there. When he was at the top of his game, though, Nicholson was making a ton of money. After starting his career in 1970 with a $12,500 film salary, Nicholson became a millionaire five years later. The paychecks kept getting bigger and bigger, but Nicholson would not have cracked the top 10 at the time if not for the 1989 film, “Batman”.
The Joker is one of the most iconic villains in comic book history, and for playing him onscreen, Nicholson received a total of $96 million. After that cemented his legacy as an A-lister for life, his salary increased again, including a $20 million payday for “Anger Management”. Now, Nicholson has been investing in art, including a $100 million collection that includes work from Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso. If you miss seeing Nicholson on TV, just turn on a Lakers game, you’re sure to see him in the crowd.

    4 . Johnny Depp ($450 Million)

    Johnny-Depp

Johnny Depp’s appearance on this list probably comes as no surprise to you. Even for small roles in Hollywood, he gets a massive payday. Depp has come a long way since playing one of Freddy Krueger’s victims in the first “Nightmare on Elm Street” movie, during which he made a measly $25,000.
A lot of people know that Depp and director Tim Burton are very good friends and they must be, if Depp was offered $50 million to appear in “Alice in Wonderland”. He got another $55 million from Disney to once again play Jack Sparrow in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”. Even voice acting has been profitable for Depp, who received $7.5 million for “Rango”. Depp’s movies have been admittedly hit or miss as of late, but as long as the millions keep coming in, he’s happy.

    5. Tyler Perry ($450 Million)

    Tyler-Perry

Tyler Perry’s films didn’t really become successful until about a decade ago. This is when there was an influx of movies that featured the words “Tyler Perry” or “Madea” or a combination of the two. Since then, Tyler Perry has felt compelled to put his name on everything that he touches. People might be a bit shocked to learn that it wasn’t his movies that made him the bulk of his money.
More than half of Tyler Perry’s fortune originates from two different things. $75 million was earned from the sales of tickets to his plays, from which the movies are based. The second is a $200 million contract with the network TBS to produce and write 100 episodes of his show “House of Payne”. It’s been a great 10 years for Perry, who has quickly shot up the list despite not being an A-lister in the 1980’s like most of the men featured here.

    6.  Tom Cruise ($400 Million)

    Tom-Cruise

Tom Cruise has been in nearly 40 films during his career, and at one point, was the most popular and highest paid actor in Hollywood. Thanks to what seemingly was a mental breakdown and a religious change about a decade ago, Cruise has taken a little bit of a hit in the standings but is still filthy rich. During his early days, Cruise wasn’t a household name and was barely making anything from his movies. He was only paid $75,000 for the cult classic “Risky Business”.
Movies like “Top Gun”, “Cocktail” and “Rain Man” were all successes, and that’s where Cruise started to earn the big bucks. $227 million of his net worth came from starring in the four “Mission Impossible” movies. Even “Rock of Ages”, a movie that nobody saw, paid him $5 million to play a singer in what was basically a cameo role. The role obviously wasn’t as well liked as his performance in “Tropic Thunder”.

    7. Tom Hanks ($390 Million)

    Tom-Hanks

Some people might think that Tom Hanks should be higher on the list due to the fact that he is one of the most accomplished actors of all-time. After winning a couple of Academy Awards for Best Actor, there are many people who believe he is the most skilled actor to ever win the award. While that may be true, he is still doing just fine in terms of money.
The films that Hanks has appeared in have gathered an estimated $8.3 billion through the box office worldwide. The movie that has paid Hanks the most in residuals is “Forrest Gump”. “Forrest Gump” was a modest success at the box office, but its repeated plays on television have allowed Hanks to make a total of $70 million from the film. He made another $50 million from “Angels and Demons”. With a huge library of films that have paid him well, Hanks sits at just under $400 million.

    8.  Bill Cosby ($380 Million)

    Bill-Cosby

Bill Cosby is going through some controversial times these days as several women are accusing him of sexual assault. Still, Cosby is in the top 10 with nearly $400 million to his name. We haven’t seen much of Cosby on TV or in movies for the past 20 years, so how is it that he is still so rich?
Cosby had a decently successful career as a standup comedian, but it was when “The Cosby Show” became a hit on TV that everyone wanted to sign him for endorsement deals. The Jell-O Pudding commercials in the 1980’s were a big hit and eventually his sitcom made it to syndication. People still wanted to watch it after the show ended, resulting in Cosby receiving millions from the deal.

    9.  Clint Eastwood ($370 Million)

    Clint-Eastwood

Clint Eastwood is worth a massive amount, but he would be worth more than $400 million if not for his divorce from his first wife. Eastwood’s second wife signed a prenuptial agreement with the actor (director, writer and producer) so that he would get to keep his net worth.
Almost 50 years ago, Eastwood was being paid more than $5 million (in 2015 currency) per movie. His acting career has progressively slowed as he has turned his attention to working behind the camera. Eastwood most recently directed, “American Sniper,” which has already made more than $100 million in its opening weekend. This likely means that Eastwood’s already high net worth is going to jump up a few spots.

    10.  Adam Sandler ($340 Million)

Adam-SandlerWhile Adam Sandler has received criticism for both the roles he has taken and the movies he has produced lately, there’s no denying that he has made some smart financial moves. Forbes listed Sandler as “The Most Overpaid Actor of 2013” due to the massive amount of money he receives for each film. For instance, Sandler earned more than $60 million for the movie “Anger Management”.
Sandler has one of the best agents in Hollywood who has been able to negotiate a $25 million flat rate for films, as well as 25 percent of what the film makes at the box office. If one of his movies bombs, he still gets at least $25 million and much, much more. Sandler has been doing this for years, netting him well over $300 million. This also makes Sandler the richest alumni of “Saturday Night Live” in front of Will Ferrell and Eddie Murphy.
